VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2006

Listed below are the dates of Vacation Bible School in our churches for the summer of 2006.  If you need phone numbers or directions to each of the churches, click the church name.  We will update our information as we learn of dates and times.  If the information for your VBS is not listed, please e-mail or call (834-9635) and I will be glad to add it to the list.

READY TO SHARE CHRIST THROUGH VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Over 200 people are now ready to go back to their churches and get to work on Vacation Bible School.  The annual NGBA VBS Clinic was held Tuesday, April 18 at Marietta First Church.  Twenty churches were represented. 

VBS is one of the largest outreach events most churches conduct each year.  It is a great opportunity to teach unchurched children about Christ.  It is a great way to connect with families who may not attend church. 

Those who were able to attend the clinic were introduced to this year’s theme song, sampled many of this year’s suggested snacks, made some of the crafts, were taught how to lead a child a Christ, participated in games, learned how to make simple decorations, received door prizes, etc.  The clinic encouraged, inspired, and provided practical helps in conducting VBS.  Lifeway and Wilson’s were present to provide churches the opportunity to purchase the resources they may need.
